Although writing this just a week into the new year I am conscious that by the time it reaches members it will be towards the middle of February, so it’s a little late to be sending new year greetings. Nevertheless, I know we all hope that 2023 will prove to be the year in which life finally retums to something like normal. The experience of coping with the restrictions necessitated by the pandemic probably means that ‘normal’ may well not be an exact resumption of what took place before Covid: the experience of holding on-line events and meetings by Zoom, or one of its altimatives, is almost certainly likely to bring changes to the way in which we operate in the future.
