BIOS Books

From time to time BIOS publishes books on subjects of interest to its members and of importance to the history of British organs. In recent years, monographs have included books on the organ builders John Nicholson and J.W. Walker. The latest was a study by Gerald Sumner of the organs by French builder Cavaillé-Coll that were imported to Britain in the nineteenth century. It was published in mid September 2025.

Purchasers should note that BIOS is a volunteer run registered charity, not a commercial bookseller. Although we act as fast as possible, despatch can sometimes be a few weeks from the time of ordering.
