Member website access

BIOS launched the new website in late 2024 and it included an area for additional content accessible only to members. The first member-only material was images from the Holdich Notebook and that has been joined by an archive of BIOS Journals.

To be recognised online as a member go to the login page and enter your membership number or the email address BIOS has on file for you and then the password you created. If you have not previously created a website login or are unsure what email BIOS has for you, check on last year’s membership renewal notice to find your number. If you have mislaid that, it was on the 2026 renewal notice sent in November or you can contact the membership secretary.

Once logged in, you will find you have access to a complete digital archive of all BIOS Journals from 1977 to 2025 as well as the Holdich notebook images. These things are found under the ‘Resources’ tab. The Holdich and Journal browsers provide thumbnails on a computer browser or phone. Clicking on images opens larger versions, of a Holdich image, a Journal index page, or the entire volume if you clicked on a Journal cover.

In time, more will be added, giving ever more reasons to join BIOS.
