Barford, St Michael c. 1870 Hill I/P 8 [R00171] Grade II
A good, small organ by Hill & Son built circa 1869 and representative of a type found in village churches in the later 19th century.
Glamorgan, St Nicholas 1875 Dane II/P 14 [S00302] Grade II*
A rare survival of the output of J S Dane & Sons of Swansea, dating from 1875 and conserved in near original condition.
Modbury, St George 1873 Forster & Andrews II/P 8 [H00108] Grade II
A robust example of Yorkshire organ-building (Forster & Andrews 1873) which, despite the alteration to the Pedal action, is a rare survivor of its builder’s work in the West Country.
Trowse Newton, St Andrew 1913 Norman & Beard II/P 11 [N06730] Grade II*
A fine organ by Norman & Beard from 1913 at the peak of their output and an example of how budgetary constraints were overcome.
