Day Conference & Annual General Meeting 2025
Saturday April 12th 2025 – 10.30 for 11.00
The morning will include a close look at the 1954 Willem van Leeuwen organ (restored by Flentrop) installed in 1954 when the church was rebuilt after its destruction in WW II, and a presentation entitled โWills, Willis and St Monicaโs Care Home, Westbury-on-Trymโ in which William McVicker and Owen Woods chart the history and technical detail of what was the Wills family house organ. In addition Ds Bertjan van de Lagemaat, Minister of the Dutch Church, will exhibit rare books and church silver from their very fine collection in the Library.
Lunch is included followed by the AGM and a recital by Jason Tang and Hamish Wagstaff, post-graduate students from the Royal Academy of Music. We are most grateful to Professor David Titterington, organist of the church, for arranging our visit.
All members may attend the AGM at 2pm without payment, but it would be helpful to know in advance if you are coming just for the AGM. The charge of ยฃ40 for the conference includes tea and coffee on arrival and lunch.
